Since 17 November 2025, Avalon Hotel has been officially certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, one of the Nordic region’s most recognised and trusted environmental labels. The certification is proof of extensive, long-term work to reduce the hotel’s environmental impact and offer guests a more sustainable stay.
Being certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel means that the hotel meets strict requirements that cover the entire operation. The assessment considers the whole life cycle, from energy use, water consumption and waste management to chemicals, textiles, cleaning and purchasing. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel also places demands on a healthy indoor climate, high operational quality and continuous improvement.
